I saw the previews and the video on CMT and it is such a beautiful horse. I think I had the Breyer model when I was younger but I can't remember what breed it was. Anyone know?

Looks like an arabian .
She doesn't really look like she has an Arabian head. Looks a lot broader and less refined. They're trying to claim that Flicka is a "wild mustang" so they're not going to be going for something that looks like it could win a Halter class.

From the photos off of the movie set I can say for sure that "Flicka" or the horse playing Flicka is NOT an arabian. The horse looks like a quarter horse. The up close shots are of a horse named, Ribbon. Mounted standing shots are by a horse named Pablo.
The man behind the horses has herds of QH, paints and palominos. No arabs.
