What things can your pet do that won't make you mad, but would infuriate you if your friends did it?

Answers:
Climb in bed with me and lick my nose.if my friends did that I may have to lay them out flat!
Pee on my tires.
Beg at the dinner table.
It would sure distress me if my friends behaved the same as my cat does..In PUBLIC! Licking itself everywhere!
In fact, I would get upset with my friends if they kissed me, as my dog does..
i guess it would be licking me, biting, jumping on me pulling me down the road on a leash, and making me carry them down the road when their scared of the cars ive got a half grown english mastiff so its pretty tough
lick my face.
my dogs jump on our sofas.and i get really mad when my friends kids do the same
Poop in my yard and not clean it up.
Drip from his nose all over my house.
Attempt to eat cat poop when I'm not looking.
Like their as ses and rub their butts on my floor
If my friends pooped on the floor I would be hella mad.
Slobbering every where or licking their private parts in public places.
Lick his balls in front of company

what the hell is hell?

like, what is it?
Answers:
This question should not be in the pets category.
It's like.Hell!
Its damnation. Its a person being helpless while being tortured by fire etc. forever without any way out.Try reading Revelations its the last chapter in the Holy Bible.
After you die, your deeds will be calculated.

For every bad deed you commit in your life, you will have to repay the damage you've done to the society, surroundings, etc.

Hell is a place where you will be burnt for years, where 1 day is not of 24 hours, but much much more than that, which I'm unable to recollect.

Hence a request, avoid committing bad deeds.
From my understanding it is the place to where all unsaved people go. There is no quenching of thirst, no rest for your weary head, no pain is to great there, It is your worst nightmare and beyond. You never and never will see anything like it while you are alive that goes for heaven to. There is nothing like them on earth. They are the best and the worst of all that you can imagine and more.
It's a place where vile evil sadistic things are going on that your mind could never comprehend, even in your worst night mares.

Hydra is a new microarchitecture that combines shared-cache multiprocessor architectures, innovative synchronization mechanisms, advanced integrated circuit technology and parallelizing compiler technology to produce breakthroughs in microprocessor cost/performance and parallel processor programmability. In Hydra, four high performance processors are integrated on a single die. Hydra represents a new way to build microprocessors that will demonstrate that it is possible for a multiprocessor to achieve better performance and better cost/performance than wide superscalar mircroarchitecture on sequential applications. Hydra will use a single chip shared cache architecture to fundamentally improve the communication bandwidth and latency between multiple processors. The shared-cache architecture takes advantage of the on-chip bandwidth to provide an order of magnitude improvement in interprocessor communication and synchronization latency compared to current-bus based multiprocessor implementations. This will improve parallel processing efficiency to the point that it is feasible to exploit fine-grained parallelism in sequential programs with a multiprocessor.

The shared-cache architecture and the support for specialized synchronization makes Hydra an ideal target for emerging parallelizing compiler technology. Most of this technology has focused on parallelizing applications into large grains so they will work efficiently on current multiprocessors. With Hydra we will have the ability to exploit fine grained parallelism and so we will develop parallelizing compiler technology that is capable of extracting this sort of parallelism. Using these automatically paralleled applications, we will evaluate Hydra's shared-cache and synchronization mechanisms. This will be the first such evaluation of a shared-cache architecture.

I have no interest in hamsters.
350 for 10 -12 minutes turning half way thru
Above 30 I think it is. Standard hamsters go into hibernation.
Hamsters have a good fat content..
The microwave
They're mammals so they need a warm environment. Treat them as if they were cats dogs. They're indoor pets so they shouldn't freeze out in cold winter. Ask your pet shop or search the internet for more info on exact room temperature.
Hamsters need a water bottle, non wood-based bedding such as straw or . do best
as indoor pets, preferring an average room temperature of 65 to 75 degrees .
100 degrees to make in a roasted and below 0 degrees to make it a ice cube,27- 36 just nice.
around 27 to 37 degree celsius. if its too hot u will get a roasted hamster. ermm..
Hamsters need to live in a room at standard room temperature off of the floor and away from draughts and bright sunlight.
my friend have one and she just kept it on her desk and didn't worry about- if it's good 4 u then it's good for you- don't put it ou side anything in door is ok.

what tempatures can guinea pigs live in?

Answers:
any temperature that you are comfortable in should be fine. remember that piggies are smaller than you and don't let them stay in a cold room or under a draft. when it is hot they will need to be cool, also so don;t keep them outdoors. our long haired piggy got too hot during the hurricane evacuation (it took 4 hours to travel 30 miles) and he died in the car.
i dont know sorry. Try and keep them at standard room temprature
room temperature they don't need a big light over them
Between 65 - 75 degrees (18 to 24 degrees C) is suggested. Indoor housing is highly suggested, too.

This site has good housing tips (and a lot, lot more!) - http://www.guinealynx.com/housing.html.
Room tempature is most comfortable.

What strategies do you use to make your house round and using its hind end ?

I'm having difficulty with my horse. I was curious to see if there were any better ways than what ive been trying.
Answers:
Well, first of all, make sure that you're sitting nice and deep in your saddle, keep your wieght just slightly behind the horses center of balance.
Work off a 20 - 30 meter circle to begin with, this will help the horse to collect more easily. To encourage the use of its back end, place ground polls roughly 1 - 1.3meters apart, and trot over them. I've found this method especially effective, and you cant do any damage over ground polls.
you will feel as soon as the horse begins to collect.
and by "collection" im not meaning a shortened stride, im meaning that the horse will begin to use itself correctly. Also alot of slow hill work (walking and trotting) this will also help the horse to use the hindquarter effectively.
Also, elastics are very good, as you dont have to hold them, they just sit over the horses poll, and through the bit, and down between the front legs to the girth, almost like running reins, but much kinder and far more flexible as the horse can still lift its head if it wants to, but the tension on the elastic kind of discourages it.

Ummmm..drop me an email, or IM me, im online now, maybe i can help some more, i doalot of work with racehorses, teaching them how to use their hindquarters, etc.
Hi there;
By round do you mean you wish your horse to roll back using the hind end (where the power is) or you mean more collected and not cracking in the back?
I think I can help with the working off the hind a bit.
You will need to do ring work with this trick; using the rail, keep your horse one half a horse length away then turn your horse into from the rail for a reverse position using your outside leg. (the outside leg is the leg away from the turn). Make sure that your horse is nicely squared off before the turn.
If this is something new to your horse then always begin teaching this move at the full stop, then work your way to a walk, jog, lope. Work both ways of the ring so you do not end up with a one direction horse.
Personally I like the ground work to be solid before asking any horse to do anything new or potentially confusing.
Watch someone else ride your horse to see if the horse is up on the bit and is well collected. Ask yourself is the horse moving forward or just moving. When moving forward are you seeing ears/tail swishing/twitching? Is your horses mouth constantly working with the bit? These are signals that perhaps a change in the tack would help to get your horse thinking more on what the rider is asking of him/her. Ask for clean stops and willing starts regardless of gait.
As for rounding, I am going to assume your horse is hollowing out in the back. It is essential that your body position as well as your leg position be correct. Check to make sure that you are not sitting with your weight too far forward nor with your legs too far behind you. Your seat is critical if you want to round your horse's back so it can work more easily from its source of power.
The best way to correct your seat (if that is what is a issue) is to sit on your horse at the stop and ask your self these questions:
If my horse were to bolt like a cartoon caricture (which mine has lol) and I should end up with a split second of air time would I end up on my face? On my feet? Or on my rear end?
On my face, you are too far forward.
On my feet you in a balanced seat for your horse.
On my rear, you are behind your horse and sitting right on his/her power plant. Correct the seat and your legs should fall where they need to be.
Gee, I hope some of this helps a bit. Good luck with your mount.
PS. Never let your outside leg drop behind the cinch when attempting a rollback.

What store can you get a hamster harness?

Answers:
Petco? Petsmart? something like that!
Superpet has them. Some place like petco may have them.
Depends where you live.If you live neer a pet grooming shop i recommend that you check it out they might have one. Or if you live neer a store called: Safari,Animals Home,Animal Tycoon, and if that does not help you can go to a local vet and ask if they have or if they no a store that might have
petsmart- they have almost everything i always go there 4 my hampsters and dogs and cat and lil fishes.
petco
walmart
Don't bother, they chew through them.
try looking on yahoo shopping, ebay, petco and petsmart. Don't spend to much on it becuase some hamsters don't like them, and would rather run around freely in a run-about-ball (sold in ANY decent pet store ^_^). Good luck.
petcetra has them
Petland, but I don't think rodents actually like those 'pet leashes'
I would seriously consider a ball instead of a pet leash for a hamster.

1. its less stressful- I've seen a hammie come in with wet tail which is a deadly disease for them- stress is one big cause of wet tail- and this hammie was being trained to walk on a leash and just got stressed out.

2. its less restrictive and gives them freer ranges

3. they feel more comfortable in a ball than they do on a leash

4. They will chew through a leash.

They've got cool new excersise balls for them now. one shaped like a motorcycle (the ball is the front wheel) one shaped like a race car- various colored ones. so you have a good variety to choose from. but that's the way to go in my opinion.

even my rabbit hated her leash to the point she almost broke her arm trying to pull out of it. so. just keep that in mind.

Petsmart is the best place to go tho. some of their stuff is cheaper if you have their free savers card.

What stops sheep from shrinking when it rains?

What stops sheep from shrinking when it rains?
Answers:
The natural lanolin in their fleece.
better yet, how did Wooly Mammoths avoid shrinking?
LOL, And why don't cows smell as good as the leather in your car?
Rub them with oil
Rain isn't hot enough to make them shrink! You'd need hot rain, then some even hotter wind!
It rains under 40 degrees, always read the label.
Because they have magical powers - simple as take
Asking such a question shows that nothing stopped your brain from shrinking.
simple. they drip dry, no dryer
Because of the oil in the wool. Besides, it's not just water that causes wool to shrink. It's the dryer that causes most of the shrinkage.
I don't know.. but your question made me laugh.. Thanks..
its cos we cross "Wool sheep" with Kangaroos , So we still get "woolly jumpers".
All of the lanolin in their coats. Just think, if they didn't put lanolin in lipstick perhaps your lips would shrink every time you had a drink
They're pre-shrunk, check the label.
Keep them in the house and out of the rain.
Their wool is 100% natural and they have skin that has evolved to face the elements. When wool has been spun by man, it has additives to make it suitable for clothes and also loses the natural protection that it has when the sheep is wearing it.

what sthe funnyest things youve see your pets do?

Our (female) Pomeranian hunches on her stuffed Pooh bear and her stuffed Easter bunny. She really gets going! Has done it all her life. We have it on video; it is hilarious.
The funniest thing my dog does is, when I'm walking her on a leash and she sees another dog, or even a person, she grabs the leash and tries to act like she's in charge, taking her human for a walk!
mine and moms dogs had never seen pigs before when we took them out in the forest the dogs took to hearding the pigs and tried to heard them into the car it was so funny as the pigs are wild but tame
Pye will look me in the eye and bark. Not funny?!? Pye is a cat!
Pole Dance. When I lived in a condo I had a table that was connected to the wall on one side and held up by a pole on the other. If I pulled out cat nip my cat would go crazy on the pole and hold onto it and spin around it. It was hilarious stuff.
My 4 month old kitten Noortje will lie with 2 year old Ginger and suckle Ginger's fur, in search of a nipple. Only, ginger is a boy..
two miniture schauzers.they get up on their hind legs and walk backwards..and dance around
My ferret willy always jumps off my shoulder onto my bed or couch when Hes getting held.. lol.then he jumps off the couch and grabs onto my shirt and pulls himself up literally and does it again!
Oh so many stories!

My dog is like horny all the time or something, and whenever I have a freind over she starts humping them and then crying when I take her away from them!

My guinea pigs are sort of odd- I tried to take them for a walk, and one of them refused to move, the other backpedaled as fast as he could!
I used to live on a boat and once we had a nice wedding.
but the next morning my Pure breed doberman was really not well.. and when I was calling him there was not much answer..like he had himself a hang over.
Wondering what was happening to the dog and thrying to wake up ourselves - we found out that this chrystal ball on the coffee table was empty. There were chocolate coins rapped in gold and sillver aluminium paper foild and now the ball was completely empty because our dog had eaten all night long the chocolate pieces because he was very greedy.. Chocolate can make dogs very sick and I must say we know it is true. It took this huge, trained guard dog, many days to recover as we did need some days as well - the wedding party was so much fun and we all had to pay the consequences of abuse. At least we were all in the same state of mind.slow.
it just has to be when my cat was a kitten and she run around like a crab, soooooooooo funny. you know the crab walk they do when they are creeping up on something, or when you suddenly move your feet and they jump up so fast you just can't help but laugh. i am laughing just thinking about it.
it's funny when my cats sleeping on the edge of a bed or chair and rolls over and falls off and you know they're embarassed.
my rabbit playing dead.he lets himself fall on his side and
doesn麓t move at all.well, sometimes he licks the floor.
Fall out of their hammock while they were sleeping, I have 2 ferrets.
I had my horse out grooming him while someone was putting hay in his pasture. When i let him out he was so excited he jumped like 6 feet off the ground. He looked like he was jumping a big jump but nothing was there!!

good luck.
I don't know but step on it!!
ALL spiders are venomous, most don't have fangs that can get through our seven layers of skin though. I think the venom thingy you are refering to is actually the spinners. Fangs are where spider's venom comes from.

There are a lot of spiders with white abdomens. Where I live, none of them are potentially lethal. Well, actually not much is lethal around here. Anyway, they are mostly grass spiders. Their white or light colored abdomens allow them to blend in with dried grasses, seeds, and other plants with white parts.

You can bring it down to a local college with an antomology lab, but even if you only have biology, professors usually know about these things. I brouhgt in a HUGE spider with a white and red abdomen and red and black legs that I had not seen in my then 20+ years of wandering through nature. Turned out it was common and not deadly, just huge and frightening :o)

Anytime you find something you don't recognize it is a good idea to have an expert look at it. Invasive species are a major threat these days even when they are not "dangerous" to us. Depending on where you live you might also have stumbled on a new or extremely rare species.

If you are worried about it, stick it all in the freezer and turn the little guy into a frosty critter. Be careful though when you take him out, a lot of bugs can freeze solid and then bounce back to life as soon as they thaw. How cool is THAT! :o)
Yeah. What wtony said.
take it to a scientest n have them tell you what it is?

None of them. Monkeys are wild animals.
Don't take my word for it though. Check out this website and pay particular attention to Articles/Info and Testimonials. Also watch the PowerPoint presentation.
The people in the pictures thought they knew what they were doing. Guess again.

If you're lucky, non-human primates are illegal in your area. We can always hope.
none
Well non of them really do they take alot of time and effort into them and even tame ones can attack at times. But if you think have the time and pations for it then I would go with a white faced monkey. There easier to train.

What species of hamster won't bite me ?

Try and Chinchilla instead! Get a baby that you can hand hold a lot and they will grow to get used to handling. We love ours and they are super soft and quite intelligent. They can be trained to use a litter box!
the mice is a good hampster that will not bite at all.
toothless.
give love and care to you hamster it will come around some day mine did
All animals bite if provoked.
Whatever you do NEVER get a Dwarf Hamster!! They are the most aggressive of the bunch %26 they take a long time to acclimate to being handled.
give up on the hamsters sooner or later they always get around to biting you . i never had a problem with mice and rats if they are handled regularly ..theyre just smarter than hamsters imo.
there is a hamster that can't bite due to the structure of its jaw. i can't ink of the name right now-maybe the dwarf hamster??-i know it is a smaller breed. if you ask an actual pet shop wih knowledgeable people that specialize in different rodents--not petco or petsmart-they can help you. mice and rats can and do bite though. if you can't find the breed i mentioned just pick out one that seems somewhat calm and be sure to handle it a lot and it hould stay friendly.
Try a pet rat or mouse instead
i tink they all do

What Species is the mouse?

My Suitemates found a mouse and are now taking care of it. It's a little bigger than a quarter, but has fur and open eyes and inquisitive nature, so I'm reluctant to think it's too young. If anyone knows, please response. Note: there is a link to photos of it.

do not attempt to rid this creature from ur premises. their called mouseyosesrex, a rare breed of the horse family. if they get wet they will expand into full sized arabian horses complete with leather saddles and riding whips. (the whips themselves can be sold for thousands).

either that or it's a field mouse, but i dunno, my humanoid instincts are going with the horse thing.

good luck.
its a rodent
it's called an EEKasauras mini dinosaur
IT'S SO CUTE! I think it's awsome to take care of wildlife in need! Good JoB!!
well his eyes are open and he has fur.. it can live w/o mom.you do not say too young for what? and they are mammals and in the rodant family
I don't know where your friends got this mouse from, but big things come in little packages. big things such as decease and med bills. Did you know that mice can carry the rabies virus? some critters weren't meant to be pets. let it go, you don't need to kill him. just leave it where you found it. I don't want to sound like a party Popper, but you just need to be careful.
I think it's a common field mouse, and quite young by the looks of it. Although mice have a fur coat and open their eyes after about a week and half, they'll still be small and won't reach maturity for six to eight weeks.
It is a common field mouse. Very, very cute. I suggest going to PetCo and purchasing a CritterTrail for it.
it is definitly a field mouse. In my old house, we would always find a dead one in our back yard. It looked exactly like that, except with claw marks in it. Probably from the neighbors cats. They eat grass, seeds, snails, and small insects like grasshoppers.

what special adaptations do frogs have?

Answers:
Can breathe thru skin or lungs..if in mud or on land.

Long tongue which attaches to front of mouth to whip out and get those bugs..

Secretes mucous to keep it wet and from drying out in land.

Webbed feet for swimming.

Membranes on eyes to help it see under water and not close the eyes..

Lays many eggs to assure the next generation..

How is this for an answer?
Just to name a few off of the top of my head, frogs have webbed feet, allowing them to more easily through the water. In addition, their powerful hind leg muscles allow them to jump great distances, either to escape danger, or move about their environment. Because they live in a moist environment, they are able to breathe through their skin; their eggs are also designed to thrive in a moist environment, for most species. The link below goes more in depth as to their adaptations. I hope this helps.

what sound does the girraffe make?

Answers:
A girraffe makes a hiss type noise because they have no vocal cords. Actually they are one of very few mamals that have no vocal cords. So they mainly use body language to communicate.
Just the sound of chewing leaves!
Depends on what you do to it.
I made a giraffe go " woof". I poured gasoline on him and lit it.he went "woof"
fill your mouth with peanut butter and that is the sound they make
I believe they baaaa like a lamb. At least that was what I was told when I went to Animal Kingdom at Disneyworld.
Very high pitched sounds.
a low bleating noise kind of like a sheep
Giraffes can moo, hiss, roar, and whistle.

I've also heard that most of the noises made by giraffes are sub-sonic.

same as a small dog but not as a rabbit, I know. Then there is no need to buy lunch.
krump from my experience . particularly when you squash them from tail to head
It would be more like thwang-screeeeeeeecch-thud-"bl. st"
'Ouch, watch where you're driving *-hole' in my experience of roadkill commentary.
I used to live in Bournville (Birmingham UK) and at night you would see the foxes running around.
The noises they make range from short gruff deep barks to very high pitched long squeals/howls.
It is quite hard to describe but the higher pitched sound , I would say it is quite eerie.
They also make the odd snuff snuff noise.
I hope this helps :o)
its even better in a 4x4, the bugger flies up and smacks your windscreen. it makes a dull thud but yelps when you smack it. a rabbit is like a very high pitched squeak and not much else. but the best is a good sized dog like a labrador, they woof yelp and scream. its at this point you pull over tut and get the tire lever from the car and give the dog a good smack over the head then throw it to the side of the road with the rest of the crap.
Your sick!!
You SICK, DEPRAVED, MORONIC, FUC*ING WAN*ER!!. I would sincerely like to run YOU over at 70mph, no 100mph for maximum impact. Then reverse slowly over your skull. I wonder what kind of sound that would make?
like a crying kinda screech
i don't know having never run over anything. anyway what kind of person runs other things to find out what noise they make!

What sorts of things do dumpy tree frogs need for a good cage habitat?

Answers:
Tank: White's tree frogs in the wild spend most of their time in trees, and need an enclosure with lots of climbing room. A minimum 25 gallon aquarium is recommended, and the arboreal type (tall rather than wide, often hexagonal) is better. A tight fitting lid is essential, as these frogs have foot pads that will let them easily scale the side of any aquarium. More than one can be kept in a tank, as long as they are of similar size (otherwise the larger ones may eat the smaller ones).

Substrate: Larger pieces of bark, large sized gravel, or soil can be used, and can be covered with sphagnum moss (which will help retain moisture for humidity). Avoid small sized gravel or bark or the frogs may accidentally ingest it. Some keepers prefer a more bare approach, simply lining the tank with paper or paper towels to facilitate cleaning (it is a bit harder to maintain the appropraite humidity this way, though).

Decoration: Provide lots of branches, large pieces of cork bark, and foliage for climbing - keeping in mind that it needs to be quite sturdy to support these stocky frogs. Live plants can be used, although they must also be sturdy and they must be free of fertilizer or pesticide residues (on the plant or in the soil). Live plants in the terrarium can be kept in small pots to make cleaining the tank easier. Placing a large piece of bark diagonally across the cage, a couple of inches from the back wall will allow the frog to hang from the back of the tank under the cover of the bark to sleep during the day. Alternately, any sort of thick plant cover or hide that allow the frog to hide during daylight hours can be used. Covering the back surface of the tank with dark paper will help the frog find a secluded and dim area to sleep during the day.

A piece of paper a couple of inches tall placed around the bottom of the tank may help if the frog tends to rub its nose along the glass to try and "escape."

Temperature and Lighting: Because these frogs are nocturnal, there are no special lighting requirements (i.e. exposure to UVB is not necessary, although some exposure won't hurt). However, a basking light or heater should be provided, outside of the cage, to provide a gradient of 80-86 F (27-30 C) during the day, with a drop to 72-78 F (22-25 C) at night. As always, use a thermometer to confirm that appropriate temperatures are provided. Lighting should be subdued (and if needed at night, use a nocturnal bulb), and a regular light-dark cycle should be used (12 hours light and 12 hours dark should be acceptable).

Humidity: Humidity should be maintained at about 50-60% The tank should be misted daily with dechlorinated or bottled (not distilled) water. A dish of water should also be provided. Frogs like to get into water to rehydrate and soak, so it should be large enough that the frog can comfortable sit in the dish, but not too deep that there is a risk of drowning (tree frogs are not strong swimmers). Do not use fresh tap water with frogs and other amphibians, due to the chlorine used in the water purification process. Water provided in the dish and used for misting should be allowed to sit in an open container at room temperature for 24-48 hours ("stale" water), and ideally treated with a dechlorination kit available at pet stores. Alternatively, bottled water can be used, but do not use distilled water.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Your frog's cage should probably be spot cleaned every day, wiping off any large bits of waste matter from the plants and bottom of the tank. The water in the dish should be changed daily or at least every other day. If paper is used to line the cage, this can be changed often. If bark or moss is used, it can be taken out an washed as needed - the more often the better. Soil should be changed as needed. Plain hot water is the best choice for cleaning - with soaps or disinfectants there is a chance of leaving residues which could be absorbed through the skin and harm the frog. If disinfection is necessary, rinse very well and dry thoroughly. Replace any water with stale, dechlorinated water.
Something as close to their natural environment as possible: Trees, or sticks, anyway, a constant supply of moisture, live insects to eat, and warmth.

What small breed of dog travels well?

We will be full time motor home traveling soon.
I'm interested in a small, calm dog to take traveling.
Answers:
Westhighland terriers were bred to travel with their owners wherever they went and are obedient little dogs. Great breed. They actually look to please their master and stay by your side. I think this would be an excellent choice and would be great for different places as they would not run away.

What sized cage do you need for 10 mice?

I'm wondering how big a cage you will need for 10 mice, preferably the dimensions either in ins or cm. I know the bigger the better but what is the absolute minimum size without fights and where all the mice are happy?
Answers:
I've kept mice for a few years and found my mice fit well in any size cage but a good amount of room for this many mice would require a cage of ruffly 60cm long x 30cm wide x 30cm high would be of a good size and you can go bigger if you like i also recommend perspecs over glass and wire cages as glass holds alot of moisture and isn't good for the animals and wire cages don't keep the mice warm. if you wanted as an alternative you could divide the mice into 2 groups and have 2 cages instead which will give the mice a little more space and minimise fights.
Maybe u can buy a big cage. But also don have to be very big. Hehe. Just enough for them to stay inside. If u donwan the mice to fight, I'll advice you to seperate them. Hope that's work. :)
You will need 2 cages.. One for males and one for females. You won't be happy with your colony if they are all housed together.. the males will stink to high heaven, and the females will be very stressed and eat their babies..2 aquariums will work well, 10 gallons each.or cages about 10X 24 inches..You will also need a cage suitable for the weaned babies..
Used to breed Champagne satin mice..
a big one lol good luck bye
rember to keep in mind that they all need to be females our you will be flowing heavaly with mice EVERY where! Trust me you don't want to go there! haha I kept all of my mice in a 20 gallon tank. our try a 10 gallon tank and add a 10 gallon cage topper. The total would prob come to about 40-50- dollars. Also rember they love weels and toys. Mine didnt fight at all when I had tons. They smell alot so you need to clean there cage out more. make sure the wires of the cage are verry VERRY tiny!! Mine got out when the wires were only 1/4 of an inch a part and had mice everywhere in the house,

What size staples should I use??

I need to stretch out hamster pelts to dry ready to make a steering wheel cover for my F reg XR3i innit.

Mix some pepper and jalapenos in the salt. It does the work faster.
And as musical background, try Enya instead of Dido.

What size of bit should I use for my horse?

I currently use a 51/2" D-Ring Regular Snaffle and I have the chance to buy a MYLER Full Cheek 5" snaffle bit-- I really want this bit. Myler bits are supposed to be AMAZING and I did my research about them and I want to try it out! Only thing is.there are no distributors in my province of the MYLER brand, so I have to buy off Ebay, and the BEST price for a BRAND NEW Genuine Myler Full-Cheek Snaffle bit..is for a 5" bit. So, is 5" that big of a deal from 51/2"? Should I go ahead and get the 5" bit or keep looking for a 51/2"??

FYI: My horse is a purebred Canadian, 16'1, big boy. (Canadians are light draft type breed if you're not familiar with them)
Answers:
find someone with a 5" bit and measure it in your horse's mouth to see how it fits compared to your 51/2" bit. Unless your horse has a giant mouth you should be ok with a 5". I had friesans here at the barn I work at and the 5" fit with no problem.
A little bit.
mickleson
Aweosme you have a horse well I do too!
But depending on your horses age if he is young I would buy it but if he's older than 8 I wouldn't buy it becasue you have a higher chance of screwing up his mouth.
Hope this helps!
Put the bit you hvae in his mouth ans look at the edges of it by the d-ring.
Do you have at lest 1/4" on each side of bit or is his mouth filling up the entire 5 1/2" length of the bit.
If you have some sapce a 5" bit would be fine.
5" bits are pretty standard and most horses can use one comfortably. The bit would pinch at the corners of his mouth if it was to small.
Equipment is never a substitute for good horsemanship.
Did you know many Myler bits are not show legal( I am assuming dressage)

Measure him and compare,,, a well fitting bit is important,, but bit placement is more important,,,Many warm bloods have deep set lips,, if you use the "wrinkle rule" you will find your bumping his teeth,, lower the bit , take of the cavesson, and they learn to pick it up on their own,, and become more responsive.

I start almost 100 young horses a year, have for about 20 years,
That is around 2000 colts,,, I use the same style snaffle on almost everything.. nice relaxed horses who are winning world titles.

What size horse would excell in eventing?

I wonder what horse size would be a good match for me -- I am 5'6", average build, and am wanting to get more serious in the sport of eventing. I have read that anything under 16.2 h is a stretch if wanting to event at higher levels. I know a lot of the "suitability" of the horse depends on its temperament. Let's assume that temperment is not a problem--what would be the ideal size/height range?
Answers:
You can event a smaller horse, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I forget the guys name (maybe Todd Minikus? from Australia or NZ), but a few years ago in the olympics he medaled in eventing on his 15.2-15.3 mare. That's about as high of a level of competition you will get. Being 5'6" and average build, you should shoot for 15.2-16.2 depending on the width of the horse. Besides temperment, I'd be more concerned about health and soundness (good feet are imperative). A TB or TBx is probably the best suited breed for eventing.
you should get a 15 hands high.Iv'e had the same problem.
Depends on what kind of eventing you are wanting to do. For fences you are going to want a taller horse like a thoroughbred, Standard bred. 16 - 17 hands. For something like Dressage 16 - 17 hand Gaited horses are good.

If you are looking for like western eventing. Quarter horses are the way to go. For anything with speed that doesn't require too much time off the ground you want something built shorter and a little more compact for speed. 15 -16 hands.
A CHEESE SIZED HORSE IS BEST FOR U!
I'VE ALWAYS BEEN MORE INTO THE RODEO CIRCUIT, BUT THE LITTLE I KNOW ABOUT EVENTING, YOU WERE TOLD RIGHT. 16. + IS ESSENTIEL. IF YOU HAVE A TRAINER, ASK HIM/HER TO HELP YOU FIND A SUITABLE HORSE.
Probably a 16.4hh, you might want to get one at 10-12yrs as they are well schooled and won't spook at usual things.
If you're really looking to go big you should be looking 16.1 on up. Most of the horses with the temperment and ability to event at that level are in that height range. They're just big breeds. You have to move at a certain speed and a smaller horse needs to work harder to maintain that rate and gets more fatiged towards the end of the course. I think that has a lot to do with it because a 15.2 15.3 horse can jump high and well but it's the whole course that counts. Good luck
Around 16 hands or a bit higher would work just fine. But really it's all about the talent and athletic ability of the horse! I've seen tiny little ponys jump amazing hieghts at shows! So while theres a better chance you will find a capable, alhletic horse at around 16 hands or more (since its easier for them to jump the higher jumps), and they also look nicer going over the jumps and can handle doing high jumps more often (because its easier for them), it really does just depend on the horses ability. Good luck!
Anything 16.0 and over would work for you. At 5'6" you are not that tall and your leg is not going to take up that much space on a horse.
It is more about the horses ability to handle the things your are wanting to do than breed or size.
it about more than just the height of the horse you have to look at his build, and especially his personality!!

What size halter do I buy for a 2 year old horse? Cob or Full?

Answers:
Depends on the size of the horse and the horses head. I have a 5yr old that takes a cobb halter. And I used to have a mare that wore a full size halter from a 2 yr old. On average most 2 yr olds will wear a full size halter with some room to spare; but quickly grow out of a cobb halter. Most likely your friend will have to replace a cobb halter for a larger one within 4 months.
probaly a cob if its a small horse like a quater horse, if its a draft horse then you`ll need a full.

i have 4 horses QH and they all wear a cob size halter.
Well how big is he? What breed? You need to measure him and compare to the halter you're looking at. It's like buying a pair of shoes - gotta try 'em on, or at least measure. An Arab 2-year-old is probably going to need a smaller halter than, say, a 2-year-old Clydesdale.
Depends on the size of the horses head. If he has a long face a full would do it. they should actually have a tag on them to tell you what size horse would wear them.
It depends on the breed. If he's a Thoroughbreddy breed, something light and small, a cob size halter would work. If he's a Warmbloody breed, or a Draft cross, then you'll want a full size halter, or maybe even an oversize halter. Keep in mind that not all horses' heads grow a lot past that age so you might be able to get a normal halter and just adjust it on to the top hole. Another thing: go with a leather halter or a breakaway halter. He's young and could easily spook at anything. If you turn out in a halter, make sure it's able to break if he gets stuck on anything. Hope that helped!
full, just use the smallest hole for the buckle, the horse will fill out this year !unless you have an arabain then get the cobb!
I would get a cob. But it will eventually need a horse sized halter, when it is full grown.
I am assuming you have seen the horse. Go to the tack store and look at the sizes that they have, most have a tag saying up to 500 pounds..500-1000 etc. this gives you a guideline to go buy. Our quarter horse is 2 and we actually ended up getting him a yearling halter because it fits his face better. If all else fails take a pic and then with camera in hand ask the guys at the store which they would reccomend.

What size cage is best for two adult female guinea pigs?

I have recently adopted 2 female guinea pigs. They came with a cage, feeding bowl, water bottle (that leaked and I replaced) and a sleeping house. It looks too small to me and I would really like to get them more room to run around and play. I also have inside dogs that are interested in them. I am sure they will not hurt them intentionally, but might let them out or injure them while trying to play, so I have to have a lid. Also, I bought treat and timothy hay for them plus a salt wheel. Is there anything else I need to provide for them?
Answers:
I too recommend the website that Em listed.using the C%26C method you can "dog-proof" your cage with a "ceiling" grids. Your piggies don't need a salt wheel, but they DO need special guinea pig pellets and vitamin C, which they can get from being fed fresh fruit %26 veggie treats (mine love romaine lettuce, oranges and strawberries, but any dark green veggie will really provide them with the vitamin C they need). Here's the dorky site I made for my piggies, which covers most all of the basics that they need to be happy piggies.

http://www.secondstarillustrations.com/c.

Good luck!
Nope, that's all you need for happy guinea pigs.
When considering cages, bigger is always better. GPs like about a square yard each, but are very social, and don't mind sharing.
You could let them out to play in a bathroom, away from the dogs. (easy clean-up too) Get some cardboard boxes and tubes, tunnels, cat toys, and other interesting things for them to play with. Make a little "disneyland" for them, they will get exersize and won't be bored.
Good luck and enjoy the little guys.
no one knows cavies (guinea pigs) better than the British and there is a very helpful site called Cavy Madness with measurements and pictures of cages and lots of other good things to know.

http://www.cavymadness.com/

I have noticed that many of the commerically made cages that are advertised as My Guinea Pig's First Home are by and far way too small for even one fuzzbutt.
Build a cube cage! It's cheap and you can make a large, roomy cage to the dimensions you want.
http://www.guineapigcages.com/cubes.htm.
More info about cage needs on their home page:
http://www.guineapigcages.com/index.htm.
It says 2 pigs need at least 7.5 square feet but 10.5 is preferred.

what side of a horse do i get on and off of?

Answers:
The opposite side of what hand you write with.
Either side. But not from behind. They'd get nervous and try to kick you to the moon.
Left side
Left. Same for a motorcycle.
you always get on and off on the left side of the horse. you lead them from that side too.
If you're right handed, mount and dismount from the horse's left side.
whatever you prefer
if u r right handed u get on the horse with it on your right. vis versa with left. when u get off, u get off the same side u got on. but i think both sides are flexible.
either side. its better if you get off and on each side to get your horse used to things on both side of them. you can also lead your horse from either side to.
it is best to mount from both sides. this is best for your horses back. happy trails!!
you ALWAYS get on on the left side. dont ask why.thats the way i was taught to get on by a very prominant horse women in my area who is really big into shows.
The left side, you lead it and saddle it and bridle it on the left side also.
Well.traditionally, you get on and off from the left side of the horse--the same side that the girth/cinch buckles on. However, many people who do competitive trail or endurance riding, or just extensive trail riding teach thier horses to be mounted from the "off-side" as well so that in case there is a situation where you have to get off or on your horse and can't do it from the left you're not out of luck. It's a good practice to teach the a horse to allow you to mount and dismount from both sides.
The left side
Traditionally, the left. But there are reasons for mounting from the right. I do because I broke my left leg seven years ago (horse accident) and it is easier for me, because my left leg is not strong enough to use to mount from the left. (I have a metal bar and six screws in it.)

Can anyone answer why you should mount from the left? Come one - all those "prominent" horse traines should give us a reason WHY. I've always wondered.
I don't know, I have never seen you do either. I get on and off both sides, but often will mount on the left and dismount on the right, for no particular reason.
The left side. The left of the horse is called the near side and the right is the far side. It started with carriage horses over a hundred years ago, the near side was where the coachman would lead the horses and get on the carriage. It's just the way it is. no real obvious reason but it's always good to be consistant with horses as they get comfortable with what they know is going to happen.

What should you dress a horse up for halloween?

She is a chesnut mare named dolly. My barn is having a halloween party for the horses
Answers:
hmm.if she's the kind of chestnut i have (which is a bronzy color with a red shine in the light), i'd either get a used Arabian costume outfit (kind of pricey and hard to find), or you can make your own! (BEST CHOICE! LOL). we've done this same thing at our ranch and i've had many many ideas. some of which were really cheesy, like dying the horse a different color using jello. that was really fun and then you can choose a soft-material for a mask or something. my horse didnt even throw a fit when we were colorin her cuz she's a sucker for baths! :D with cold weather coming around though, make sure the costume doesnt interfere with her daily routine! HAVE FUN!

-megan
A Cow! LOL.
Make her tail stick out and say she is your broom stick and you dress up as a witch.
Or put some big ears on her and say she is a donkey.
or some whiskers and say she is a cat
or paint her black and leave some brown spots and say she is a doberman but you would have to tie her tail up to make it look short. I think the broom stick one is better tho because then you could ride her.
a princess. Get her a child size tiara and a cape around her shoulders. She will be beautiful.
I think that a great Halloween costume would be to dress up as a person from the 1700's. Get/Make a costume of your preference and have your horse as though she is your only transportation. Dress her up as a horse from the 1700's too.
My favorite horse costume I've ever used would be a unicorn. It's really easy to do, you find a cone, like a cotton candy cone, and wrap it in tin foil and then put glitter glue around your 'horn'. Then get a hole punch and punch a hole in each side of the cone and put a string through it large enough to tie onto a bridle or halter.

What should you do when you knock a dog down? Does anone know of a vet in belfast who will treat stray dogs?

We just hit a dog in our car. I checked him over for broken bones and he appeared to be fine, although I could see a little blood on the pavement (it was hard to see as it was dark). The dog was an old labradore. I am worried incase he may have internal bleeding or something else which would lead to him dying a horribe death. Is there any 24 hour vets in Belfast who will treat stray dogs? Thanks.
Answers:
The Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals is a charity that performs Veternary services.

By law you should inform the police.
I think you are supposed to report it to the police, Only dogs not cats!
Don't live there so don't know vet.
Why not look up a dog rescue place in the phone book.
But, where is the dog now if it is a stray?
earlswood veterinary surgeon Belmont road Belfast 4
Drive away very fast
By law you are supposed to report hitting a dog. I would presume you call the police and they would deal with it. Failing that do you have P.D.S.A. over there? If not just call out a local vet because they will treat the dog and I don't think you have to pay. I would presume because it is not your dog then the local animal welfare people will foot the bill until the owner is found but you must get this dog to a vet, if it has internal bleeding it may look ok but it will die.
you need to inform the police so they can collect the dog and take it to a vetinerian clinic, and look up files to see if they can find its owners. i dont quite know why your on here writing about what you should be doing, you should have done it by now! this dog could die if you leave it any longer and then you will fell bad as it will be your fault, sort it out now before you have a dead dog on your hands.
i think you are meant to report it to the police
Typically you would report this to animal control. Animal control has an oncall veterinarian that handles hit-by-car accidents.
get him to a vet and worry about money later. He may have an Identity micro chip, so think about him and his owner and off to the vet! THE POLICE are too busy and he may need help asap - so get to a vet - and he will advise you from there about police etc
I would take the dog to a vet as he may have a microchip that the vet will be able to read. So that you can tell his probably distraught owner where he might be. Please do this as he is somebodys pet.

What should we name the baby turtles?

We just got 2 baby turtles and can't think of names-- we don't know if they're male or female so please stay away from gender-speciic names. Any suggestions?

Name them after the Finding Nemo turtles. Squirt %26 Crush.

Have you looked at the Dr. Seuss book Yertle the Turtle? There are quite a few rhyming names in there.Yertle, Myrtle. I think I would stay away from fertile though!
How about something simple like ,.Hi and Lo! Let us know what you finally name them!
Try unisex names or basic pet names like Spot and Fluffy. : )

Since its illegal to sell turtles under 4 inches, something tells me you bought these guys on impulse from the black market (china town or a kiosk at a tourist spot like myrtle beach SC or florida). Just so you know They cannot live in a plastic box, they need a glass tank 10 gallons PER inch of turtle with a basking spot over a land area and a uvb light bulb so they can absorb calcium, they also need a filter and regular cleaning. Turtles are extremely high maitenance animals.

Now for your question, i would name them Rafael and Leonardo after my fave teenage mutant ninja turtles.
turtle dee and turtle dumb
Durk and Doe
Tortugo/a.it's spanish for ''turtle'.'

what should we do if v spot a buffalo?

Answers:
TALK TO HER! (polite-lee)
:)..otherwise..they mite wear teh sports hoof gloves n start to race with u..haha but they r oways left behind cuz v r runnin ahead always!;)
i would just leave it alone
I suppose it depends on how close you are to it and where you are. They generally are not mean unless provoked so do not get to close to it. At a safe distance you will be fine. Do not provoke it and it will leave you be. If you are not in a national park or protected area, kill it, they are delicious!

just kidding on the killing part part but buffalo is delicious.
1. Wipe it off
2. Apologize
3. RUN!!
Make Buffalo Burgers!
take a photo.
leave it alone. If you wanna watch it do so from a safe distance.
Depends on where you spot it. If it's crossing the road, DON'T run into it! Otherwise, take pictures, appreciate it from afar, and don't get too friendly. Maybe you can find a calf in a petting zoo.
take a pic and run let heck and fast and get out of the way
Believe it or not a lot of people are killed every year by wild buffalo in our state parks. Sometimes it is just human stupidity and sometimes it is a bad mistake. A birthing female will separate herself from the herd and find a grassy or bushy place to give birth of her calf in peace and in cover from predators. Unfortunately, if she is laying down in cover some people stumble across her and of course she is already on high alert.

I think it is always best to keep a VERY safe distance if you see a herd of Buffalo. Especially, in the spring when females are birthing and bulls are fighting to mate.

Take Care
I do not know what kind of buffalo you are taking about.

Where I come from (South Africa) there are lots of buffalo in the game reserve. They are normally in herds. If you see one that is alone it is likely to be an old male that has been kicked out of the herd by a more dominant male. It could also mean its injured. Buffalo account for a hugh number of deaths and they can be aggressive. View it from the Land Rover.

what should u do when ur guinea pig dies, bury it or throw it away?

Answers:
By all means, bury it. We are all God's creatures and deserve respect alive or dead. When my goldfish died, we said a prayer for them. Some people may think its silly and may say cruel things, but how would you feel if you died and no one cared about how you were to be remembered as well as gave you service? burial? Its would be insensitive and non caring to do otherwise.
RIP little guinea pig. I'll say a prayer for you and your loss..
Eat it for dinner.
I would bury it. It's your pet, like part of the family. Would you throw them away?
You can bury it at home or call your local vet. they usually offer cremation services, where you can drop him off and they'll take care of the rest. there is a small charge for this, around here, it's like $20.
bury it with something it liked in a place in your yard or the park
eat it.make it with rice and gravy..yummy!
Why do you ask? Bury it. Say a few respectful words over it. Get on with life.
Use burial-by-sea. This involves the funeral in the bathroom chapel.
what would you like for yourself? To be buried or thrown in the trash? If you loved your pet how could you even think of throwing him in the trash?
Don't bury it! I buried my hamster and he was dug up during a landscaping project. You can call sanitation and ask for a dead animal pick up, or take him to a vet, you will pay a small fee but he will be , well cremated in mass with other animals. Ignore the person above, he's dead, I don't think he'd mind. I don't think I'd care if I were dead.
When my little Ziggy Stardust died I buried him, marked his little grave--all that stuff. He may have been "just" a guinea pig--but he was MY guinea pig!
It depends on how you felt about the guinea pig, how often your trash is taken out, and also if you have a yard to bury it in. If you didn't have any kind of emotional attachment to it then wrap it up and put it out with the trash. If you cared about it you should bury it. That way you will not be regretting your decision later. If you really liked it a lot you could also contact a taxidermist and have it preserved but it is kind of expensive.
Dont eat it..put it in a little box %26 then write "RIP" on it(not the guinea pig)
Either option is acceptable depending on how close you were to the D@mn thing.Hell, if you' re hungry, why not eat it?

Taste like chicken!!
I would burry it in a nice little box. It is like your baby. I have burried all of my animals that have passed.
I think you should bury it in a special place. when mine died I eventuralie moved on.
Here are your choices:

Could get it Cremated ( I did that for my piggy)

Bury it in your mom's flower bed. ( I use to do that with my hamsters when I was a kid)

Go to the Asian market. Guinea pigs are a delicacy. You could make some quick cash. But I would think your horrible if you did that!
i say bury it. Don't throw the poor thing away. I always bury my piggies. i can't stand them being thrown away.

What should make my bunny happy?Food?Toys?A Friend?

I want my bunny to be happy, but it's very hard to since he doesnt have any ears. Yet i think he can hear fine. Although he ran awya a few times we found him in the neighbor's yard and so we made sure he wouldn't run away . Is there any ways to make my bunny happy? and female bunny, toys, food, warmth, play? anything?!?!?!?
Answers:
u can buy or pick (make sure if u pick it is is a healthy plant 4 therabbit) rabbit treats. it will make them very happy. u can also find another bunny to be w/. make sure the other bunny isn't fiesty though. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AND IT WILL MAKE UR BUNNY HAPPY IS . ATTENTION FROM IT'S OWNER!!
You should play with him. get him a wheel so he can run on it, and a female bunny would prob help him.
ATTENTION
My Dad raised bunnys they need to have companionship. Get him a friend.
you could get him a playmate or give him attention whenever you can he might feel lonely.
I have a rabbit that has a very big attitude. My family gives him bird toys (they have to make noise), baskets to chew on, newspapers, and he loves boxes. He will literally chew a box to shreds. You can also buy him some special food, and find out what types of foods he likes, my rabbit loves bananas.
a bunnie is not hard to please all u have to do is, if ur home a lot start to handle her a LOT!! and if ur not they really like to have 2 or more other bunnies in there cage with them but beware they do multifly very fast!! if u do get it a friend make sure to control them. they also like toys like pipes and stuff they can crawl in.
another rabbit, of course!! oh the poor thing.hold him more..

what should i tell my friends that keep riding my horses but ever seince they rode him he hasn't been the same

help
Answers:
dont let them ride her, no one rides my barrel horse it can mess a horse up if it has many different riders because not everyone rides the same ,different techniques, cues posture etc..i have other horses that are just all around horses that most people can ride but they still can get confused and try to get by with things that i will not let them do,but an unexperienced rider will, if the horse is young he should have one rider while in training so as not to confuse it..definatly dont let them ride your horse if you are not around.
Just tell them that he is different and you think it would be best if they didnt ride him. If they are true friends they will understand your concern.
tell them he is sick and they can no longer ride them. If they are friends with you just because you have horses, they are not true friends.
Hmmm..well first make sure that your friend's riding your horses has contributed to them "not being the same."

If it is, just them the truth. Your horses dont feel good and you want to make sure WHY before you let people ride them again.
just tell them that your horse is having issues and he's [she's ?] starting to have problems adjusting to you riding him[her?], so you need to be the only one riding her for awhile. Tell them that he[she] could hurt them or you if he starts acting up while you or them are riding. tell them there's a safety issue at hand.
good luck.
How about "Don't ride my horses!"

Then have them checked to see what is wrong.
If they are not experineced riders, they can cause problems with your horse's behavior. Improper riding can teach him bad habits and spoil him. Tell them he has training issues and no offense, but unless they are experienced riders, they need to go find a well-broken hack to ride or take lessons from a professional.
I don't allow folks to ride my mare, or any of my horses unless I am with them and they dride exactly how I instruct them to . I've seen some people THINK they can ride, but riding and doing it right are two different things. Explain that a horse is not a machine, and their unprofessional riding is causing him to misbehave because he is confused or aggravated.
not sure by what you mean, isn't the same?!! but if your horse is having issues doing what you ask of him or any other behavior issues, just tell your friends that sorry you have had to put him into training because of these issues and that he is no longer avail to be ridden by anyone else but the trainer. and if they ask to ride him down the road offer sure after you take some professional riding lessons because you have spent alot of $$ to get your horse trained and don't want him untrained. horses learn by repeated habits, good or bad.
DONT GET MAD GET GLAD
I think you should ask yourself why you let other people ride your horse when you aren't even around to see what they are doing. Maybe your horse wants to tell you something that is why he is acting differently. Your horse is smarter than you are. Now what are you going to tell your friends? I suggest you ask your horse.

Fitting since Fall is coming soon.

what should i name my two steers? (boy cows)?

i have 2 steers that i need to name. what do you think? nothing stupid please.
Answers:
Our family used to name everything with something starting with "F" because that's what their last name was. We had Flossy, Friendship, Ferdinand, etc. Maybe using your name as a starting point will help.

Of course, for the steer who was destined for our table, we named him Freezer.
Ham %26 burger
i think you should name them, choco, and Garrett
Steak %26 Ribs. Fahita,%26 bones
Bill %26 Ben

B-Rabbit like in 8 mile
You could name her Cali, but use Pumpkin as a nickname
Cali - however I like Gizmo better
cali is nice
Cali.Once we had a rabbit and we named it Butter cup. We called it Cutter bup! You could name it Pepper, Missy, Milly, Brandie,Cassy, Megan or Precious.
Cali is short for Californian, which is a large breed with dark nose, ears, feet, and tail on a white body. Since yours isn't a Californian, I'd go with Pumpkin.
Or Mary. You never go wrong with a Mary.

GET A LIFE! YOU POOR CHILD.WHAT KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY IS THAT TO HAVE A PET YOU DON'T FEED, IT DON'T TALK, AND YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH, AND IT ISN'T ALIVE? GET SOME HELP WHILE YOU ARE AT IT! ONE MORE QUESTION, HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU KNOW THAT TWO ARE BOYS AND ONE IS A GIRL?
(sigh) you're probably too young to remember this, but on the old Fred Flintstone cartoons, which were set in "caveman" days, they did a few episodes with their version of movies stars.

They came from Hollyrock (instead of Hollywood, naturally), and one was called Ann-Margrock (a parody of Ann-Margaret, a very popular actress in the 50's and 60's).

Then on Beverly Hillbillies, there was the episode where Ellie May fell in love with a movie star named Dash Riprock.

Let's see, some others you might consider:

Stonewall Jackson
Rock Hudson
Fred and Wilma Flintstone (they had a daughter, Pebbles and she was friends with Bam-Bam Rubble)
Knute Rockne (famous football player)
Kid Rock
Chris Rock
Rock-a-Doodle
Rock and Roll (you decide which one is female)
Stone Phillips (NBC anchor, I think)
Sharon Stone
Pebble Beach
Rocky Pebbles
Fruity Pebbles
Mario van Pebbles

Cute question. I'm all geared up to start naming things around the house now!
I like those names, but I also like Lucius, Nostradamus, and Marcy.

Remember the book "Mr. Popper's Penguins"? About the housepainter who wrote Admiral Byrd (the real life Antarctic explorer) a fan letter and received a crate of penguins in return, and all the adventures they had keeping them cold, travelling with them, etc.

Great story.

However, I didn't know penguins were really good pets. You may want to check with your state's DNR to see if you can keep them.

Kitty Rodgers needs to lighten up a little. I would name the horse Kitty , or Sundance.
Reese's..as in the peanut butter cup lol.
Fish. I think it's a good name for a horse. besides you really need to watch the horse and he will name himself. You should name him after one of his traits instead of what he looks like. I had a horse once called Frosted Flakes, we called him Flakey, because the only way to get him out of the pasture for shoeing or the vet was to shake a box of frosted flakes at him and he would come running and sit still as he was worked on then he got his frosted flakes. let the horse decide his name it'll be more interesting than anything anyone can come up with here..
Foxy!
