I want to know which monkey gets the least aggressive as it matures, I am looking to purchase a monkey, i have read a lot of good, and bad stories about keeping a monkey as a pet, I am looking at tamarins, capuchins, marmosets, and squirrel monkeys, I am willing to devote all my love to provide a caring and stable home for a monkey
Answers:
a pet and trained monkey..none from the wild would be good..
A stuffed monkey. All the rest have very sharp teeth and can bite your finger off in a second. Monkeys are not the cleanest animals and they require a lot of care. They can get sick and then the vet bill would be sky high.
had spider monkey, nasty lil critters. better 2 find a man %26 trainb him.
Don't get one. They belong in the wild not in a cage!
I think squirrel monkeys would be cool pets because they sound really tight. And because I bet they are small. Moneys are awesome but only buy a money if you have the money, time, and the love to take care of an exotic animal, so only buy a monkey if you think you are ready for a huge responsibility. Don't make a mistake and buy a monkey just for fun because they have feelings too.
I am an 11 year old boy. Hope this helps.
Curious George.lol (smile)
None of them. They are non-human primates, not intended to be pets. Most of the babies were torn from their Mothers way to young and have not learned any social skills and then some owners take them to get their teeth pulled to keep them from biting. These monkeys will become problems. Lots of them are sold illegally. Don't do it.

Look under Articles/Info and Testimonials and see what happens when people think they know what they're doing.
Look at the PowerPoint presentation too. It's a bit graphic, but you'll get the point. There are so many great pets out there, especially at the shelters. Go adopt one.
