What kind of diseases do bugs carry?

Like roaches crickets june bugs you know like fleas and stuff im real curious cuz a bug just landed on my food and i threw away the part it landed on it was a real small black thing idk if it was a small fly or a flea i dont know it could be a flea cuz i have a cat but i dont know anywayz back to the point what kinds of diseases do bugs posess(have)?
Answers:
fleas can carry bubonic plauge, ticks can carry lyme disease, and rocky mountain spotted fever, mosquitos can carry malaria, encephalitis, and west nile virus. Most other bugs don't really carry anything.
You do have cat or you don't have a cat? Well flea's are really tiny but they jump. Fleas come from the grass. Roaches are actually clean. A fly maybe dirty cause it lands in * and eats it so that's bad.
It's funny you ask because I just read an article yesterday that said you can actually get bubonic plague from fleas that have bitten rodents like rats. It said the chances are small and like only 2000 people a year get it in the whole world but its still pretty freaky to think that the "Black Death" is still around. The only other bugs I know about are ticks and they carry lime disease.
lime disease, and yellow disease
