What species of hamster won't bite me ?

Answers:
Try and Chinchilla instead! Get a baby that you can hand hold a lot and they will grow to get used to handling. We love ours and they are super soft and quite intelligent. They can be trained to use a litter box!
the mice is a good hampster that will not bite at all.
toothless.
give love and care to you hamster it will come around some day mine did
All animals bite if provoked.
Whatever you do NEVER get a Dwarf Hamster!! They are the most aggressive of the bunch %26 they take a long time to acclimate to being handled.
give up on the hamsters sooner or later they always get around to biting you . i never had a problem with mice and rats if they are handled regularly ..theyre just smarter than hamsters imo.
there is a hamster that can't bite due to the structure of its jaw. i can't ink of the name right now-maybe the dwarf hamster??-i know it is a smaller breed. if you ask an actual pet shop wih knowledgeable people that specialize in different rodents--not petco or petsmart-they can help you. mice and rats can and do bite though. if you can't find the breed i mentioned just pick out one that seems somewhat calm and be sure to handle it a lot and it hould stay friendly.
Try a pet rat or mouse instead
i tink they all do
