Cats are my favorite animals. Whether they are housecats or big cats on the savannah, cats are cool as can be. They have the best lives: Sleep 18 hours a day, relax in the sun, spend time with their fellow pride mates or litter mates. Kill and eat as necessary, and spend plenty of time cleaning up, bathing and preening. With regard to humans, housecats or pet cats have the uncanny ability to be in charge. The cat is in control and has the upper edge, not the inferior human. Love and affection and attention are always on the cat's terms. They can be loving and affectionate or disdainful and aloof. It's all up to the ever cunning, intelligent, gorgeous cat.
