What part of a stingray stings you?

Um, no.
Frogs are wild animals (even ones bred in captivity are not domesticated), what sort of people food are they getting in the wild? None!
Pet stores have bugs in pre packaged containers. All you gotta do is drop them in. I don't see how that can be any easier. There are freeze dried foods now. Some frogs won't eat them though.
Give the frog away if you it's too much of a hassel for you.

Go to a pet store or Walmart, there is food for frogs.

What other type of bird can CANARIES be housed with?
I have a male and female canary right now in a cage, I recently bought a 8ft tall by 8 ft wide aviary to house them in and give them way more room to fly in. The aviary is too big to house just 2 canaries. I would like to get some other birds to put in with my canaries. Will other types of finches work, I would like to get a pair of doves, What do you think? Also the aviary is inside the house. Thanxs

Some 'passive breeds of birds' will simply attack anything. I've put my pair of cans with a pair of weiros, quails and some budgies. The weiros got attacked by the budgies even though it's 3 times it's size.
Finches should be ok. Doves, i don't know. try putting them together but watch what happens.
If you are planning to breed your cans, it's best to put them in a seperate cage as they can be shy animals. And put a small wooden box with a hole with straws inside the cage so it can nest.
Please ensure that other animals like cats, dogs and rats can't enter or paw the cage down. i learnt my lesson the hard way.

They recently started to clear some land by my house and the deer are coming out looking for food. They started to eat my rose bushes and my red bud tree. I don't mind because I know they are very hungry. I have fed them corn but want to know what else I can give them.

first of all thats the wrong attitude to have.you know their hungry.?look.. deer have survived for millions of years on food other than your roses.please ..if you have to feed the deer..first keep them out of your pretty roses by taking a ziploc baggy and slice some small half inch cuts in the baggy,and shave some soap bars into the baggy. and tie them to your rose bushes..next.get some real deer feed from your local outdoor / hunting store..some examples are apples,salt blocks,corn, and sugar beets.Put this food far away from your flowers as possible.If the soap doesnt keep them away try some predator urine such as coyote,bear ect..and spray that on the ground next to your roses..plese dont feel sorry for them and let them eat your roses..also you may want to check local and state laws cause feeding deer isnt always legal in many parts of the country..you may unknowingly help the deer transmit diseases to eachother such as bovine tb and cronic wasting disease and you may be killing the deer your trying to help

They eat soybeans (in the field) and I hear they love apples. You could get some goat feed, they will eat that, but be careful for you may humanize them and they will have no fear of man and there lies another danger, the hunters.

Feeding can cause more deer to survive than the natural habitat can support, which can lead to long term degradation of the natural habitat.
In addition, some deer foods used by people can be detrimental because they do not meet the nutritional requirements of deer in winter. Deer are ruminants similar to a cow and have a multi-chambered stomach, with a more complicated digestive process. If food types are suddenly changed, it can take considerable time for the digestive process to adapt to the new food, during which time the animal receives little nutrition when it needs it most.
One suggestion instead of using feeding is to: cutting trees and brush in deer winter yards makes the browse in the tops of the trees or brush accessible to deer. This browse is the food deer are adapted to eat in the winter. This cutting can only be done on private land with the permission of the landowner. It cannot be done on state forest preserve land, and requires permits on other state lands. The landowner can use the trunks of the trees for firewood or timber, leaving the tops for deer to eat. What other kind of pets can I keep in the same habitat as a few land hermit crabs?
I have 5 hermit crabs in a large tank and would like to add another critter, preferably one that is not nocternal.

NOTHING
There is no other animal that will be good to place in the same habitat as land hermit crabs.
Adding live plants is also not a good idea since plants have pesticides and fertilizers which will kill the crabs plus they will destroy the plants. Many plants are toxic to hermit crabs anyway.
Since crabs are easily stressed out, need special care during molting, lots of extra shells, and very specific tank conditions, not many animals would be happy within that climate.
DO you have the tank within the proper ranges (humidity and temp) and with the proper things like fresh and marine salt water pools?
Just put plants. Other animals are their natural predators.

you dont keep other critters in this tank with hermit crabs..In the first place. they most likely get agressive and dont forget..they also shed their shells if they grow to large for them.make sure you keep some spare shells in their cages so they can select another home if needed .. otherwise they might decide to pull off a shell of another crab thats in that cage..Ive seen it happen..with my kids hermit crab and its not a pleasant thing to see..uggh..
Land hermit crabs need to be in their tank all alone. No other animals can be in with them. I know personally that you can NOT have a raccoon in a tank with them. Even tho our coons like the sand that is in a tank that I took the hermies out of.

I almost laughed when I seen this question. I was just talking to someone the other day about this. We were talking about the alligator guy on tv. They were talking about how they go and get snakes and certain spiders to get the venom out of them and I was getting the chills down my back at the thought of turning over a rock to find some big %26** spider.
For me, I would much rather kiss a snake on the head than come across a spider. Now that does not mean I am not afraid of snakes cause believe me I am soooo afraid of snakes. Just means I am even more afraid of spiders and bugs. Won't catch me in Florida with no flying cockroaches.

I know they're supposed to be good for nature and keep the insect population in check but I just don't want them in my house. Yuck!

I'm not scared by either, but I don't particularly like most spiders. I don't kill them though, I usually just move them at most. They're very valuable at keeping the bugs that *really* bother me away. I'd prefer a spider over most of them anyday.
Snakes are neat. I'd get one as a pet but I couldn't stand to feed it pinkies/feeder mice. I breed mice as pets and love them so much- to me it would be like throwing my cat in with a boa. I'm not trying to make a statement about using live feeders here- I simply couldn't do it.
